Most of my Cockapoos grow to be miniature cockapoos. Miniature Cockapoos are very resiliant and hardy. They are very social and enjoy traveling. All Cockapoos are very people oriented and adapt easily to any lifestyle...from an apartment in New York City to a large farm with lots of room to play!

I would prefer to gauge a dogs size by height not weight. Two cockapoos that are the same height can vary in weight depending on their overall structure and if they are on the thin or overweight side. They can be tall and weigh less or short and weigh more.

Poodles & cocker spaniels are judged on their size by measuring from the top of the shoulder to the floor in a resting, standing position. I do the same with my cockapoos.

A cockapoo that is less than 10" tall is a toy cockapoo. Usually under 12 lbs.

A cockapoo that is 11" to 15" is a miniature cockapoo. Usually 13 - 25 lbs.

A cockapoo that grows over 16" tall is considered a standard cockapoo. More than 26 lbs.

Once in a while I do have a toy cockapoo. I have also had them grow up to be about 20" at the shoulder and 35 lbs. These would be the largest cockapoos I have bred and considered to be standard cockapoos.

The normal size of my cockapoo adults is to 10 - 12" at the shoulder and about 15 to 20 lbs.

Whether they are toy, miniature or standard Cockapoos....black cockapoos, brown cockapoos, apricot cockapoos I strive to have my Cockapoos have a "cocker" look about them with wavy curly coats that is very easy to groom and take care of.

My cockapoos are out of quality parents who are in optimum health, checked for hereditary eye diseases and have a distinctive look about them....a very cockery look! Those who have seen my cockapoos say they can pick them out in a crowd!

They are THAT consistent!
